The weekend just gone saw the first fixtures of the year with both men's senior team and ladies team winning their respective games , on Saturday the ladies were comfortable winners against a new Tara junior team and will take great confidence from a number of performances , we wish the new Tara team well for the year ahead and the girls go on to play Holloway in Round 2 this weekend with time and venue tbc , the senior men had a narrow 1 point win over TCG at Tottenhall with some great performances shown by Sean Tucker , Robbie Reid and Conor o Donoghue , next up will be Round Towers in Game 2 on Sunday 21st at Greenford (14.00), a great start for Senan , Damian and James in their first competitive game of the season .

Youth training begins in earnest this week with all teams back at Barnet Lane , Timetable for this week below and please check in with groups for blitzes and fixtures as there will be something every weekend now until summer holidays .

Tuesday -U15&17 boys from 7pm

Wednesday -U13 from 6.30pm and ladies -Seniors and Juniors at BERFC for lights from 7.30pm

Thursday -U15&17 from 7pm

Friday -U5/7/9/11 -U12&U14 girls from 6.15pm

The youth section had a wonderful time in Dungarvan over three days and the pictures and stories can vouch for the hospitality they all received, great thanks to our Waterford diaspora Eddie, Lou and Dan for putting the idea together and helping to seeing it through , roll on the next tour in 2026.
