Saturdays don't come much better than yesterday  with all three club sides involved in championship action  registering victories , first up it was the Ladies who after a long summer break from fixtures were in action against Tara in the junior championship semi final , whether here or elsewhere the work through the summer showed as the girls made light work of a gallant Tara side to win out easily by 4-12 to 0-08 ,the foundations were laid with a strong first half performance where we held a 2-08 to 0-02 lead thanks to  goals from the two Orla's,  we were able  to keep the scoreboard ticking over in the second half and get some much needed minutes in to the girls that needed them and see the game out with Caitlin adding another goal from the spot late on , the prize is a final spot against Wandsworth Gaels on Saturday next in Ruislip and these girls are more than capable of putting the league final loss behind them and there is a big performance in them , too many players to mention on merit based on yesterday but well done to Ciara o Shea after a long summer in Kerry and to Ailish Healy who has returned  after a serious injury , other to note were Leah Staunton and Orla Hillary but overall a very strong team effort and we cant wait for the weekend

Scorers -
Orla Reilly 2-02
Caitlin Byrne 1-06
Orla Hillary 1-0
Ann Waters 0-2
Sinead Killeen 0-2

Next up the seniors had an eight point victory over a well organised Parnells side in Cayton Road winning on a score line of 1-13 to 0-08 , the difficult to break down opposition made it hard for us but in truth we looked comfortable and the only team who looked likely to win from an early stage , Jamie Gillen opened the scoring after a minute and Tom Waters pushed that lead to seven points by half time with a goal well taken following  up  a blocked shot following a good turnover on halfway by Danny Doyle , we still held most of the ball in the second half and excellent scores from Conor (0-3) , Kevin Mc and a sweet mark from Dave Rogers closed out the game , Kevin Henry was once again unerring from dead balls and a hard working defence set the game up nicely for us , next up will be Fulham Irish in two weeks time .

Scorers
Kevin Henry 0-05
Conor o Donoghue 0-3
Tom Waters 1-0

Sean Tucker ,Kevin McCarthy , David Rogers , Rob Reid and Jamie Gillen 0-1 each.

The juniors got the championship effort back on track with a Jekyll and Hyde performance in Cayton Road against St Josephs , a poor first half playing with the aid of the wind and elements only saw us  0-04 to 0-03 up and it looked bleak , some  words along with positive messaging  saw a complete turnaround when playing against the wind and within five minutes of the restart we had this game closed out outscoring our opposition by 2-02 to 0-0 with goals coming from Conor Reidy and Jp Coggins , some outstanding displays when the game started to turn sour meant we were never in danger and special mention to Matthew Tierney ,Chris Morris and Tommy Cosgrove who ran at the defence time and time again creating openings , it means we have a straight knockout game against Tir Conaill Gaels in two weeks time to see if we can reach the final where Tara have already qualified .A mouthwatering prospect for the lads to focus on and well done to all involved for the effort put in , special mention to all players who did not get minutes over the weekend for all three sides as its this selfless effort that reaps the rewards .

Scorers
Chris Morris 0-5
 Tommy Cosgrove 0-05
JP Coggins 1-02
Conor Reidy 1-0
Caolan Doyle 0-1
