A busy weekend of fixtures with 3 adult teams involved across the city and several one off games for the youth teams boys and girls .
Tipperary Cup Semi Final -St Kiernans 2-13 ... Nls 1-05
The Seniors kept up from where they left off last weekend with a convincing 11 point win over a dogged Shamrocks team at Tottenhall , we led from the start but should have had more to show at half time than the 4 points difference with Mark Mulholland scoring the goal after 15 minutes , we lost Brian Rutledge to a bad injury early on but recovered with his replacement Senan o Grady able to pull the strings from the half forward line and the game was all but put to bed when Kenny o Connor poked home the second after 6 minutes of the second half .This was a win formed by a solid defensive display with an outstanding performance of corner back play given by Geoff Kingston , Shane McManus added composure when introduced and his couple of scores sandwiched between a beauty from Coaimhin Carthy and another from Michael Donoghue saw the scoring out .
