The club finally received the good news that planning permission for the dressing rooms and associated works was given the green light at the meeting of Barnet council on Tuesday last 15th of March , this completes the first phase of getting the pitch in place and the relevant permissions and now the real hard work will start with securing the finances required to get the building up and running in time for the 2024 season , huge thanks to all who have assisted us thus far and hopefully we can rely on your help again in getting the dream realized .We will be looking to extend the club development draw again in April with one final round remaining from the 2021-2022 , the club would urge all existing members and new members to sign up to the direct debit for the draw at £20.00 per month for another year to assist us with our goals

Please speak to your age group coach or manager for further details .Ger. o Shea has done wonders with the selling and PR for the boxing fundraising night on Friday April 22nd and has sold out all tables , I'm sure a few seats can be made available for any latecomers and the lads have been training hard to make sure its a spectacle of boxing on the night , huge thanks go to Ger and his wife Carol for all they have done with this .

The underage tour of Bantry scheduled for 03rd April is going ahead and we will be travelling with over 90 boys and girls mixed for what promises to be a great occasion , the winter training has a few more weeks to continue at Woodhouse College and a full list of blitzes will be posted on the groups shortly so keep your eyes peeled , Des and Chris have been working hard with the girls and ladies groups and how nice to see so many new coaches at training on Saturday like Yvonne, Mary Ellen , Pat and Marc to help to lighten the load , we will be carrying out some improvement works to the goalmouths at Barnet Lane in the next week and after 3/4 weeks it should be good to host fixtures again .

Our London born juniors will get their first run out of the season in the cup on Sunday 27th in Scrubs against TCG and after this all teams from U17 up will start their training on Wednesday 30th at Barnet Elizabethans before the senior fixtures commence in April .

As always after Easter the GAA takes over so things will start getting busy from now !!
