The seniors continued with their consistent start to the season with two wins from the last three league games over St Brendans and St Josephs , our single loss coming against Fulham Irish in the hottest weekend of the year , we now go on to play Tir Conaill Gaels in the league final with date , time and venue to be decided , with championship games just around the corner the management is happy with the strength in depth in the panel and despite some injuries' sustained in the hard ground there is a real optimism about the rest of the year , we wish Tom Waters well in his recovery from an injury sustained while playing for the London Juniors against Kilkenny in the All Ireland junior semi final , hopefully we will see Tom in the black and white before the year is out .
The junior team started the championship off well with a win against St Anthonys in Ruislip , despite being well in control a late rally from the Anthonys gave us something to think about going in to this weekends second game against Dulwich Harps, good to see Adrian Moyles and Mike Donoghue back doing what they do best and splitting the posts at Ruislip .Round 2 is Sunday 31st in Ruislip at 2.30pm.
Our Reserves slipped up against strong St Josephs and Parnells sides to eventually finish third in the league narrowly missing out on a final appearance and will start their championship on Thursday 04th of August against St Brendans .
Congratulations to Club Chairman Jerome o Shea and his wife Anne on reaching the magnificent milestone of 50 years of marriage this month , everyone at the club would like to offer our best wishes to them both and hopefully many more years to come .
All at St Kiernans were saddened to hear of the passing of Tara GAA stalwart Prionnsias Redican , a familiar face to all around London GAA , he will be sorely missed by all who knew him and we offer our condolences to his family and friends at this time .
