The seniors got the league off to good start defeating Fulham Irish in Round 1 at The Scrubs on Thursday last , going in unfortunate to be a goal down at half time we battled on and goal from Jerome Daly 10 minutes from time gave us a cushion we would not let go of , some really solid performances throughout with the backs again proving very difficult to break down and good scores taken from Farley, Tucker , Ryan and Fitzsimmons Tom Waters was also central to all the good things we did and made himself areal handful at full forward, our next game is Saturday 25th against St Brendans
scorers -Chris Farley0-6 Sean Tucker 0-3 Jerome Daly 1-0 Joe Fitzsimmons, Conor Ryan, Chris Griffin and Jamie Gillen 0-1 each.
The juniors also got their league campaign off to a flyer defeating Cuchulainn's by 4-14 to 1-05 at Barnet Lane despite missing some key players , best on the day were Joe Joe , Ciaran Guthrie , Mike English, Jack Ryan and Sean Walsh , there will be tougher games to come but they are going the right way .Our reserves lost out in a high scoring game against a good Parnell's side by 6-14 to 5-09 and the score line tells the story of an open game with chances galore , Mark Roche and Conor Ryan were excellent for us and it was some vital minutes for other squad players for the upcoming games .
