Club Update

The ladies team continued their rich vein of form with a hard earned victory over Wandsworth Gaels on Saturday to guarantee their semi final spot with game to spare , a strong first half display set the tone and they were able to tag on the few scores against the elements in the second half to see them home ,a win against St Anthony's on Wednesday will guarantee top spot in the group and will put them in good stead for the summer break .

The reserves were unlucky to lose out to Tara/Harlesden in a high scoring game at Barnet in the league and will not now reach the final based on results elsewhere , still plenty bright sparks emerging from this league campaign to assist with both the seniors and juniors, there is a busy schedule for the seniors and juniors this week with two home games for both , the seniors play Thomas McCurtain's on Tuesday and Harlesden on Saturday with the juniors taking on Neasden Thursday and St Jude's on Sunday , both sides have all to play for at the top end of both leagues and would be hopeful of a positive week .

The U17 team lost out to Tara in the championship semi final last week and the U15 will face the same opposition in Mcgovern Park on Thursday evening in their championship final looking to get one over on Tara following losing out to them in the league final earlier in the season .All age groups enjoyed a fantastic ABC competition run of over three days in Greenford and Ruislip last week and over 18 teams represented the club in all age groups both boys and girls , the highlight being the girls winning the shield on Sunday in Ruislip , well done to our boys who helped London win the All Britain U17 competition in Birmingham this weekend beating Warwickshire in the final .

Finally all at St Kiernans were gutted for the London Juniors who went down by the smallest margin to Kilkenny in Dublin on Friday night last in the All Ireland junior semi final , the club was well represented with 7 players in the squad , we look forward to welcoming them back to the squads over the week to come .
