The seniors lost out narrowly to Tir Conaill Gaels in the Division 1 league final played Saturday last at Ruislip , we started brightly and held a 4 point lead at half time limiting the opposition to a single score in the opening half , we withheld most they could throw at us in the second period but couldn't get enough on the board ourselves in this period and were undone by a high ball claimed as the mark deep in injury time , a bit more in the legs could have seen us over the line but nonetheless a very positive performance with a number of senior players absent , all the lads played well but best on the day were Caoimhin Carthy, Joe Fitzsimmons , Marcus Mangan and Kenny o Connor , all thoughts now turn to Championship against North London Shamrocks in early September

The reserves finished the league campaign with a draw against Round Towers in Greenford which leaves us mid table and they look forward to the championship draw on Monday night
